The Board of Trustees was formed in 1990, when it formally took over the work previously undertaken by the Haggar Family and its companies.
Members:
The Board of Trustees shall be made up of 15 men and women who have distinguished themselves in serving the Nation. Three members, one fifth of the total number, shall be nominated by Haggar Holding Company Ltd., but they will not have power of veto or preference.
Role:
To recommend or approve the Foundation’s Policy, within the principles established by the Founder. Where matters of substantial change in policy or mission statement are recommended, the Board of Trustees shall be required to approve any such changes to the established constitution and mandate.
Meetings:
The meeting frequency of the Board of Trustees is quarterly or whenever the need arises.
